Few things about those guys...
1) The eat copepods; all day!
2) a single mandarine (dragonet) requires a minimum for 100 or so gallons thats been established for atleast 1 year.
3) A refugium is recommended for a safe place for copepods to grow
4) They will starve to death.
Other than that, you could probably get by with the rest. remember you want approx. 3g/1 inch of fish (at its adult size).
The problem is getting one to eat prepared food, the LFS might tell you its eating prepared, but weather it does?? Its best to leave those guys alone unless you can host a population of pods.
mandarin is soo difficult to feed prepared food. and they eat a lot of pods all day. beware, less than 100 gal. tank, one mandarin could wipe out lots of copepods and life on the rocks.
I would only keep one tomato and if you really have your heart set on it, only one bi color pseudo. Tomatos are very nasty when they start to mature, as are pseudos. Be very certain this is what you want because after they get established it will be very difficult to add any more fish
Well my tank make got all the demension wrong on my tank but it actually leans to me a bit better cus he is only charging me for my original tank size wants not the size he has made... so it give me alot more water to play with and now nead to think very carefully about what i want... also their are a few mandarin keepers here have got them on frozens. and prepared falke food... id only buy them if i saw them eat prepared foods first...
