Over what time frame should I increase my mag? You said within a couple days there were results but how many days did it take for you to add the tech m ??

I don't think I brought it up more then 150ppm in a 24 hours time frame

Raise the mag level about 100ppm per day is safe.

That's like 1200 ml a day of tech m for my 250 gallon system?? Seems really high, instruction say 1 ml per gallon is that not going to be enough??

instructions on the jugs doesn't do much. From this calculator I was doing 1000ml/day with 200g.

Who cares it will just come back again. That or you must keep dosing the Tech M making Kent rich in the process. Its like the tank is hooked on heroin or something Only no high and it stops working after awhile.

I think the key is once it's gone to keep nutrients low so it doesn't come back... Plus lots have reported good success!

I'm about to jump on the tech m band wagon. Current maglevel is 1140 in a total water volume of 150 gallons. I have two bottles of 18 oz tech m, though overall that isn't enough. I was thinking of going 3 ml per day to bring it up. I'm still confused at the level I need it to be at, even with the calculator. How high should I take it?

3ml a day ... Lol... That won't do anything. I'm doing 1000ml a day!

LOL I meant to say 3 ml per gallon. I added 2 ml per gallon last night to get it started.

I have a teeny tiny bit, here and there, that has popped up since, but very little. A little Magnesion-P knocked it right down again.

only been about a month that I've allowed my Mg levels to go down but nothing has come back.

I have beyopsis problem for 3-4 months. Last 45 days I've raised Mg lelel from 1330 to 1750 using Tropic Marine Bio Magnesium powder but bryopsis is still here. Is this powder inappropriate for this job I guess?

many posts that's it's something in the TechM and other Mg supplements (exxcept maybe Brightwell) don't work against byropsis
