Finally, fish in the 10 ft. tank

Well what if I miss your "doi"?

Even if you needed to separate someone or if you need help with anything for that matter... Anyways, I thought problems like this weren't supposed to happen in tanks this size?? Goes to show you how even a big tank is small to a fish from the ocean. Wow. That almost needs quotes.;)

Are you kidding?:p It should be the other way around silly! All of your tanks are stunning! You out-displace me, you out-smart me, you have more pretty fish than me, you have way more beautiful corals than me and and and.. you have back-ups of them all!

Here's to kickin butt in 2009!

The tank is looking great! Sorry to hear about your fish fighting. I too have a "Big Bossy" that's ruling a 40G breeder with 2 others. I was hoping things would settle down when they move in the 268G ... but maybe not, huh?

Why are the photos not showing up anymore?

All the photo's are showing up for me.

Ogee:
Thanks for your supportive words! I'm smiling and feeling good again.:D
But seriously, I'm not as good as you. I've always admired your tank and corals.
As for the fighting, geeeeez. That's exactly what I said! I thought there would be peace and happiness in a larger tank. No! They've gone bananas and starting up within each other. Even Vlamingi now, just a little nudge and shimmy here and there with Sailfin. My gosh, should I have gotten bigger?!

SaraB: Thanks also to you for your nice words. I'm sorry you have a Big Bossy too. My guy is just plain mean. I should rename him Bully Boss Ricky Ross. No doubt if he was big like the tangs he would take over the entire tank. THEN he would have to GO! I want peace. :)

What kind of fish is "Big Bossy?" I looked back and didn't see it anwhere in the thread.

By the way great looking tank!

I think Big bossy can apply to any agressive tang, mine is a hippo;), Kathy's is a sailfin tang I beleive.

Kathy my girlfriend has started singing the chorus to that song "boss" when the fish is acting up... LOL

Big Bossy = Borbonius Anthia

 Nick: Oh my gosh, that's too funny because "I'm the biggest Boss that you've seen..." keeps running through my head every time I say Big Bossy's name.

I also keep singing "And I'm grindin till I'm tired. They say you ain't grindin till you die. So I'm grindin my eyes wide. Nothin to find. Away through the day" every time I go downstairs to do my fish chores. How funny is that!

Sara's right, Bully Boss in my case is the Borb. Thanks BK!

Just stumbled on your thread...Thanks to Crunchy.....WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! OT:Thanks for the coral .I got to the Secret Santa late.Big purple colony and a sweet Grangulosa.

 Kerruso! Hope you had a nice time at Secret Santa and I hope you like the frags. Here's to health and happiness to you and the family in 2009.

Mandy: Thanks! I can't wait to fill it in a little bit and clean up the dang electrical.
I can't believe the aggression either! Especially since I went wimps in first and then big tangs plus Bossy in last.

I think the most peaceful fish I have observed thus far are the flames and the Naso. They are just Zen.

Kathy, your rock work is beyond wonderful. Keep all of us posted with pictures of the progression. GREAT job.
