FINALLY!! Getting my own tank filtration room. (pics)

Ok, and too just jump forward past all the sheet rock and mud, and carpet install, here are some views from the theater room, and one we took at night, so you can see how the curtains we had made for the bowfront tank work good in keeping the light from shinning through, also the material is sound dampening as well.

Really makes for a quite and relaxing room to get away in.

wow! I can feel the envy radiating from my computer!
I never thought of the curtain idea, it looks good.

that one comment was pretty funny, "is all that really needed for such a small tank?" lol

that would suck

it was funny how the idea for the curtain even came up, we were having such a problem with trying to fit doors and come up with good ideas for that Bow Front glass that it was turning into a headache.

But finally my wife gave me the idea to leave the wood and door theory all together and go with something different.

Nice set up!!! What kind of light timers are you using (I assume they are the black boxes on the wall below the ballasts)

On the timers, your right, i got them at Lowes, there outdoor/indoor timers, i figured i would need something more durable due to moisture in the room.

WOW!!! That truly is a beautiful setup, of course i see from your thread it took a womans touch for the final look.

Thanks for the info on the timers... they're just what I'm looking for. I'm going to pick some up on the way home for my tank project!

Here is a pic of that room, it is next to the big picture window, i put the window in so i could still see the tank if i wasn't in the room.

Looks really great, i looked through your gallery as well. Gave me some good ideas for my new system. I'm new to the hobby, so I'm really trying to learn all i can by looking at other people's systems they are putting together.

I like how much room you have to work in and how organized it looks, do you have anymore pics of behind the tank now that it is finished?

Thanks for the comments Atlantian and to everyone else,

I'll send some more pics of behind the tank to you Atlantian
