Im glad I finally got to join the big boys tank club although my 180 is a nano compared to alot of the tanks on here. Its plumbed through the floor to my basement where its goin through a 50 wide sump then to a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub. Heres a couple pics feel free to share your thoughts.
Thanks

nice engineer goby. 1 or 2? i have a pair both about 14" long.
they are awesome.
love the rockwork, very open

Love the aquascaping! How about some pics of the basement setup? How long has this been running? Great inspiration for my 180 redo!!

Yes I agree the rockwork is different. I also think I saw a Zebra moray and a carpet anemone. If I was correct I think your rock work is not friendly for a moray. They need to be able to hide real well in rock. Your's seems to be to open. Also that carpet anemone will eventually begin to eat your fish. I really do not recommend them to anyone. Just some info to think about. Did you epoxy the rock together?

The fish is actually a engineer goby. He's just really big. Eels give me the heebie jeebies the goby does to when he brushes up against my hand when I'm servicing the tank LOL. The rock is not epoxied together. It has really good footing thanks to a very large wet saw its very stable the pieces locked together really well. As far as the carpet goes I'll keep it for awhile to see how it does I've always wanted one so I thought I'd give it a try. It seems to be doing well. I wanted a different aquascape than most. It seems like the majority of the tanks are all decorated similiar as far as rock placement and I wanted to acheive something that stood out from other tanks. Thanks for all the comments I'm always looking for ideas.

OK sounds good. You have accomplished what you wanted. That must have been some work cutting all those rocks with a wet saw. Good luck with everything.
