O.k, first thing first Im just learning about the settings and adjustments. There is no photo editing at all (except for cropping). Ill wait to learn photoshop after I learn about shutter speeds and so on. The camera is a Pentax Ist DS. with the lens that came with it.

Once you learn how to use the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, you will be able to take pics without the flash. The flash almost always washes out the colors.

WOW, especially that last shot. You did a great job getting the "true" colors out of it. I would be interested to know your camera settings and such that you used to get the shot.

For those shots I just used the " flower " setting.Still reading up on Iso,shutter speed, and the F thing.

You're doing ok, keep having fun, it's all about practice. You'll want some good photo editing software too.

Sorry but I thought I would share. Great pics so far. Pensacola beach huh, I live in the area, heres an old pic from down the coast (east of pensacola)

this was taken with an old Sony 2MP

Very good. Is that a digital camera or are you shooting film? Sorry but I'm pretty not-up-to-date when it comes to cameras anymore.

I shot it with a Nikon D 50 digital SLR and an 18-55mm lens. The wife wanted some shots of the kids and aferwards I just started walking and shooting.
