Another great trap if there is ample room on the bottom of the aquarium is this sturdy one made my Aqua-medic and works in a similar manner.

Very interesting, I may have to build something like it but smaller for the little fish and tanks I have.

Kevin, if you have the time I would greatly appreciate getting a PM from you. I do have some fish I need help sourcing and acclimating if at all possible.

I had my local guy text me this morning about some CB Clarions that are available in the 2-3" range. Said they were coming out of Indonesia.

He wanted to know if I wanted a couple. LOL. Pretty sure my wife would evict me.

He did not tell me the name of the group supplying them, just that they were coming out of Indonesia.

Wen told me that breeding Clarions "was too easy" and they have no plans to breed more, at least now...
they currently have the cleaner wrasse babies that magically appeared...

Personally, I would like to see some breeding of species that would have more of an effect on the hobby... So few people can even dream of affording a Clarion, and if they discontinue breeding because "it's too easy," we can't really hope for the price to come down at all.

Start breeding Red Sea Regals, and I will be happy.

I don't think they discontinued due to ease, apparently, lol, they were focused on something else and the Clarion just happened:eek1:...
imu, the cleaner wrasse occurred in the same way, initially, in both cases, they did not know what larvae they had was...
with the clarion, there were a couple of weeks where it was thought they could be passer or ciliaris....clarion was not even mentioned...at the time my avatar was a clarion and in a conversation with wen discussing what the fish could be he made an arrow like this, <--- , that pointed to my avatar, Clarion, and said "maybe this" and my heart stopped...think that was last march...conversation did not take place in here but fb...
the first few cleaner wrasse pics he posted were labeled as "unknown specie" lol...
they have so many fish and do such a killer job this story is only going to get better and better...:hmm5::crazy1:
