Flexible PVC for drain line?

Display tank is on main floor, sump/fuge moving to the basement. This will be an approx. 15 foot run and a 12 foot drop. I am planning to use flexible 1" pvc for the return line. I am using a IWAKI M70 for return pump. My question is, are there any issues using 1" flexible PVC for the drain line to the sump?
Thanks in advance for looking. Dan

I use ultra flex PVC on all my drains and return line now. Just make sure that the drain does not have any sags to it. This stuff is quite flexible and you can easily end up with a portion of the pipe sloping the wrong way.

I don't like to use it for long straight runs but will certainly use it for bends. It's great stuff. Just make sure you don't buy the cheep stuff made in china.

So what about the drain line? Any benefit to increasing the line to 1 1/2" even though the bulkhead is drilled for 1"?
