I don't know what the name of the place is that we started.

we stay in eminence just as you get to town. we did the 17 mile one.

water level was up I think an inch because it had poured a couple days before we floated.

crystal clear water as always though.

we did the 17 mile float as well.

FWIW.

I work with a girl who's father lives close to akers ferry. She was down there Sunday. The current river was at normal level and crystal clear. She drives across the river just down from the ferry to get to her father's house. She drives a jeep cherokee. I think they are forecasting rain a couple days next week. That should keep the rivers at normal or a little above.

Not a single one. THere's a few rope swings, a real deep cave (take multiple light sources), some large sand bars to grill on and on a Friday it's not very busy.

No fast moving currents either, so there's plenty of time to drink and relax.

I know people have jobs during the week, but there is no floating like floating on the river during the week when there are very few people out there...just you and Mother Nature.

Surely your bosses will understand "a vacation day" to float on the Current River
