OK, looking for some advice on flow for the cube tank I am setting up. The measurements are 60x60x30" with a rear center overflow. This tank will be for acropora and anthias...looking for high and random flow/turbulence.

I currently have two Tunze 6200 at 5000gph each. I am going to be using a Sequence 4300 for the return pump. I am looking for some options with Stream placement and adding additional powerheads, etc. Thanks,

Dave

I can come over and drill a BIG HOLE in your tank if you want Dave. You could get all of the FLOOOOOOW you would want.

When I saw it was you who replied, I was kind of expecting something like "water would help".

Man, that John ..... never thinking of himself.

I wonder if there is room for someone to be Pope in the club.

Dude for alternating flow I don't think you can go wrong with an oceans motions unit to feed from the front/sides. The 2 tunzes would be great against the back wall where they are relatively hidden but a few small black pvc ELs feeding from a few different angles at the top would be sweet-

I am not familiar with them...does it just direct the water from my returns? Thanks.

What does Roger tell you about a couple of Waveboxes?

I am waiting on a PM from him still. I know he says the waveboxes can decrease the life of the tank by 10% I believe. I was going to get a couple in the beginning until I read about that and became nervous with 500 possible gallons on my floor.

i heard that they only decrease the life of the tank if you have the wave going up against a large glass pannel or have it in a large tank.... which are both what you have, so you are out of luck i guess

Better see if they will mount for you, I have read they are impossible to mount on AGA tanks. I know they come in black or white.

I won't be cutting my 3/4" euro-braced, tempered glass...that is for sure!

That is two votes for the Ocean Motion Unit...I have no idea what the heck they are...do you guys have the time to explain the pros and cons?

Thanks!
