FMAS Frag Swap Meet Sponsored by Eco Reef Aquarium

Can you purchase corals instead of trading? I have just started adding some corals to my tank the last couple months and I am looking to add more so I do not have much as far as frags for trade.

Absolutely! $$ is always an accepted in trade for coral. :D

Seriously, there is more buying than trading going on. Most trades are arranged in advance, so the actual day of the "frag swap" is more of a frag (and misc equipment) sale.

Chris, I would love a good sized frag of that monti cap. I also want to stell you thanks..I have a great pod populationgoing now. I know the rules of the swap but if you could set aside a frag for me that would be great. Also will it be mounted already?

To help with getting past the entrance line at the frag swap faster, I wanted to know...
If a person buys a family membership in Jan, will he or she be given a badge or reciept that they could just show at the frag swap door to be able to walk right in?

We will take membership applications at the meeting on January 23rd, but we will not have cards ready at that time. If you have already joined the club prior to the frag swap on February 11th, we will have your name in the spreadsheet and you will be able to skip the line.

zigz, there will almost certainly be zoas like that at the swap. Darcy (45commando) has been bringing those to every monthly meeting for the auction, and quite a few of us have them in our tanks.

I am really looking forward to this Frag Swap Meet, as I have some stuff I need to unload. I will post a couple of pics of the larger items I will have for sale...

24" Current Orbit PC fixture. This is the nicer of the 2 PC fixtures that Current makes. Used 3 months or so, replaced bulbs, then switched to a T-5 fixture. This is very clean and like new.

My "I lost my energy on this project and decided to go with a hang on" d.i.y. sump refugium...just about everythings here, even a stand if you have a 10g or a 15 tall like I do! The stand even has a fresh coat of "hammered" silver/grey rustoleum paint on it!

And, last but not least, the original overflow box system that I purchased for the above project. The box was a bit too big for my little tank, so I went with the one above instead. This was purchased new and never used (although I did crack and repair one piece).

That's all of the bigger stuff, I have lots more little items too. Can't wait to see y'all there and take lots of pictures of everything!

P.S. Does anyone know why my pics are coming up as links instead of actual pictures? I am posting the way I always did, don't know if something's changed in the last month or so since I last posted...
