For your eyes only...

Beautiful!! I just bought my first little sps frag and I am like a hen with her first chick. You give me hope!!

Thanks ! That's the fun part, new frags and watching them grow and changing color and form

Great Pics and sweet choices of coral! You have great taste! Chef!
Impressive shots. Beautiful corals.
Great pics!
All i can say is pure awesomeness.
Pics look awesome.

^ many Thanks !

people always credit the camera when they see a nice picture...im sure the man behind the camera plays a bigger role in producing these very nice pictures!

Thanks ! you can certainly make bad pics with a good camera, but it's true it is difficult to do macro shots with a point and shoot camera !

great picture aqua80....and really great acros...do you know what append to our site ?? problem with reefaction ???? ah yess....see your RC private message ! thank you

Most SPS have been in tank for least than 3 months, and in the last month I've redone my aquascape a bit so FTS is not that great, but here it is anyway !

Haha, many thanks for doing this thread. Wow, those are exellent macro shots. You have an amazing collection of SPS. I must say most of those I'm after! :spin3:

Nice tank. This will look super in a year or so.

What do you utilise for nutrient reduction?

Thanks Sahin !

for nutrient export I use a large skimmer, 1/3 cup GFO changed q 6 weeks, carbon run passively in the sump changed q 4-6 weeks, about 20% water change every month (including continuous water change with dosing pump, 24x/day 100 ml or about 0.6g per day)

also my red turf algae that I have on almost every rock is also helping my water clean :-)

finally I have some cheato/red macro algae in the sump but I harvest very small quantity each 2-3 months...

Hey aqua80, I have the same DSLR and Avast look down...Im looking for a macro lens, which 100mm are you using? I am wanting to ask you some white balance questions but that will be later...

Thanks

I have the pentaxD-FA 100mm f2.8 lens
http://www.pentaximaging.com/camera-lenses/smc_PENTAX_D_FA_100mm_F2.8_Macro

for white balance for now I select the cloudy settings and fine tune it later with aperture (mac kind of photoshop program) but this is a new camera for me since 2 weeks so still learning... (had the 200d before)

Great pics indeed!!! Thanks for sharing.

Lots of pieces I would love to add to my tank.

Were most grown from little frags?

Awesome shots! Do you run bio-pellets? How high do you have your PM over your tank?
Thanks
