Found on dead acro, ideas?

Hey everyone,

Found this little guy on a Strawberry Shortcake that went through an alk swing on our new frag tank.

Not sure what it is, doesn't really look like a red bug or flatworm... ideas?



Coral was dipped with Bayer.

Crawls like a bug, or kind of slithers like a flatworm would? I see something moving, but it's kind of hard to make out any details.

Would say slithers like a worm/snail.

Hmm... My eyes might be deceiving me, but as I watch the video it almost looks like it has a forked tail which would lead me to believe it's a flatworm of some sort. Whether it's the dreaded AEFW I'm not sure. If the coral is dead though and the creature is still on it, just give the skeleton a quick freshwater dip in a tupperware container and it should fall right off. After that try and get some close up shots of it. GL.

Little guy is gone today.

Saw a few more little things on the racks, almost look like pods. Didn't look the same though.

I though AEFW were pretty flat... this guy had a little form to him.
