Frag donations needed for fellow reefers in Joplin

I have a friend in Joplin. Many reefers in the area have lost their homes or have homes heavely damaged and as a result have lost their tanks. They are rebuilding their homes and will soon be in need of start up frags. They are about 4 weeks away in needing to restock their new tanks. They will all take softies, sps, lps, zoas, palys and mushrooms. Basically anything will be accepted. If anyone would be interested in donating let me know. They will pay for shipping and or if we cordinate everything at the same time I might even take a truck load to them.

That sounds like a great idea! I could frag my toadstool and probably have a very small birdsnest frag. Let me know when you are ready for them.

Hey Doug,
Can you get me some names? I've been looking for ppl up here closer to me to talk hobby with. I would be happy to bring all that stuff up to Joplin after a meeting sometime - I'm only 30-45 min from Joplin.

Is this something we as a club could coordinate with the Springfield club, SEAS? I haven't checked in with them in ages, but they were a small friendly club when I first moved up here.

i could come up with a few, and will gladely do the driving. No shipping! that money should be spent on more goodies for their tanks. I will have to coordinate it but I've been needing to go to Miami, OK for some time.

Sure Stephanie I will get some names.

Thanks, everyone. I will get more info in the next few weeks and see if I can get names. It is the local club there. I would like to coordinate with everyone and get all frags to them at the same time.

Ok the club name is Southwest Mo Saltwater club. A few names coming in to me are Philip Smith, Dennis Owens, John Forste, Carrie Smith, Jim Mace, Charlse Stanely. I will post more as I hear more. Thanks...

Oh, I know Jim. Just talked to him the other day. He's moving to the Philippines and wants to get into collecting.

I hope I get the opportunity to meet the other reefers and that they will be ready for frags soon.

I can donate a good amount of stuff as long as we have a way to get it from tulsa to whoever is shipping and or taking the corals to them. How many reefers are getting donations? I will try to make a little pack for each of them as long as I know how many to make. Scott T (the okie scott)

I would hope that if we were in there shoes we would appreciate as much help as the deserve!! As I have said for many years karma is a double bladed sword!!

I will drive the corals up and pick up all donations from Scott as well. If someone can collect and hold them for a few days in okc. LMK

I am keeping track of everyone that is willing to donate. Will get with everyone once we get closer.

Jim is a nice guy. We will figure out who all can donate and a way to get it there without paying shipping.
