Matt , Most of its from that reeflux 10k lamp. Saturday I screwed in a new 14k aquastar lamp for a whole 15min. and took it right the hell out. The 10k is like high definition tv, everything is bright and clear.

Yup, those Reeflux 10ks have a long history of making blues pop to insane levels.

I settled for the 12k Reeflux over time when I was using halides as they still had some of that blue pop like the 10k but overall a more pleasing look for the rest of the corals.

I did run the 12k Reeflux for years and may return to that lamp again. It does help the other corals that the 10k doesn't.

Thanks Matt, It looks like there is no fixture, but it's 18" above the water and hardly ever in a picture. It sure makes maintenance easy.

What's your photo period. I assume it's your only light source?

Led on from 7:30am to 10:30pm MH 2:30pm to 8:00pm there are 24 3watt cree blue and 24 royal blue led

The reflector has a flange on the bottom and I used some L brackets on the heat sink. I took the heat sink to
my welder had them cut and weld corners. I used wing nuts so I can drop the heat sink and work on leds if needed.

In all the years no other light has made my OT solid blue. I tried my 12k this morning and it looked dim compared to the 10k.
