Full Tank Progression Shots

looks like he has had to resort to mounting corals on top of other corals......

sheesh....now that is a dense coral garden :)

Again, many thanks for all the kind words.

+1

Like Jon said, truly an inspiration. Any chance you want to recap any dosing schedules, maintenance, equipment list, equipment pics, sumps pics, the rest that make up this amazing reef?
thanks
Rob
Thanks! Yeah...not much has changed since that TOTM article. This article has some additional info...

And I have other pics and info on my website: http://www.reefbum.com

Reefbum - You have one of the most amazing tanks up there with weatherson to me! How is the multibar still doing? Also have you changed anything from the past on dosing? Any other reef nutrition products?

Amazing work!

And thank you. Multibar is doing great as is the Regal. Still doing the same thing with the additives....Oyster Feast and Roti Feast are great!

one of the most amazing tanks ive seen!!! one quick question, i have a 72*18*24 inch tank. do you think 2 400w 20k radiums w luminarc 3 mini reflectors would be enough for my tank? currently i use 2 250w with sps in mid to top positions. lastly does your regal angel nip your corals? thanks
Thanks! If your tank is 24" tall then I think that is fine. 18" tall and I would think that 250s would be fine. I personally go by the rule of 1 halide per 2' of tank so you may want to think about adding one more. However, it all depends on how you aquascape and what you are ultimately trying to achieve in color and growth. And the Regal only occasionally nips at SPS, although he doesn't do any real harm. He helps fight back all that growth ;) He has more of an appetite for LPS.

Unbelievable!

What are you using for flow? I'll look through your TOTM article to find an answer but I'd imagine you've had to add quite a bit since to get in between that dense growth..
Thanks Ian! I started the tank with 2 Tunze 6200s with a Tunze 7095 Multicontroler. ABout a year ago a added one Ecotech Marine MP40. My 2 Blueline 70s also are a big part of the flow but I do have them throttled back a bit.

Always been a favorite and I try to emulate as much as possible!!

What setting do you have your vortech on?

I am running a 75 with 2 vortech mp40w ES and I cant decide whether the new ES wave mode or reefcrest is better?

Thanks

Chris

The scientific name is Seriatopora caliendum

Lovely colourful sticks ReefBum and thanks for sharing such a lovely tank progress with us.... Could we have a look at your sump setup too please?

Your tank is so beautiful! I always say that not a method is the most important but a man. Your tank proves that. I'm really under the impression. I can't find appropriate words but I feel you're a kindred spirit.
Congratulations!
Krzysztof
