What did you think for using Coral Zooton ? did you have good result when you use it ?
Thanks Mark! A lot the success has come from learning from some mistakes I have made over the 15 years I have been in this hobby. Most of it has come by replicating what other successful reefers have done. One key thing I have learned is to let things be and let nature take its course. The more you fuss with a tank the less time there is for things to settle in and grow. When in doubt, leave things alone. And the 400w Radiums on HQI ballasts don't hurtYou know the growth on this tank is so unbelievable. I suspect Keith has a high IQ.
I saw this tank in person a couple months ago and it is simply stunning. I found myself speechless as Keith gave us the tour and explained how the system works. It really is a dream system. Imagine being smart enough and having the resources to use the best of everything. 400w bulbs have a lot to do with but so does the time he put in planning how it was all going to work, from the reactors, to the water changes, to the special fixture that he redid to use HQI 400w radiums.
Keith is a master in this hobby and his tank is an inspiration to many of us.
Yes...one of my favorites.Love the lokani.

It does let a decent amount out. In fact, you can see the light coming from the room at night from the road! However, I would not do it any other way. I used to have an in-wall tank and it was really one dimensional. I think of this tank as 4 dimensional, with the front, 2 sides and top providing a great open look. That is one sweet looking tank. Does the open canopy let out a lot of light into the room and what do you think are the pros and cons of it.

Doug
I actually use 20k Radiums and 22.5k T5s.Please tell me , how you use 10000k and get this beautiful colors ?
Thanks! No more high res shots. Camera is an Olympus Evolt 550.That is a very impressive tank. Love the high resolution photo. do you have more.
Thanks. I stand corrected...I have an Olympus Evolt-510, not a 550.Thanks! No more high res shots. Camera is an Olympus Evolt 550.
Thanks for the camera tip .
That was so nice to see a tank blossom without being broken down / rescaped /rebuilt etc.
The wife said to me "see what can happen if u quit switching tanks "
TY again for sharing the progression pics .
Thanks!very nice reef tank!
This is not a problem since my tank is easily accessible from both sides....and the tank is actually 30" wide and 24" tall.Keith, is it hard to reach the back panel of your tank or work on the overflows since your tank is 36" deep and 7-8" off the back wall?
And thank you!one of my all time favorites!
Thanks Denadai!
I made this one back in July. The quality is not great since I used my iPhone.
