Gabriel's NEW 300 Gallon Envision Tank ((PICS INTENSE))

lol it looks bad but believe it or not its pretty open, randy from SoCal came over last week and he was surprised on how open it was.. it doesn't photograph like that though...

I can easily reach into the back of the sump.... i had some problems with the aquatronica.. once i get it fixed you will not see very many wires....

I would ask some questions but I can't figure out where to begin! What a pot of spaghetti!

yeah i haven't zip tied the canopy wires.. i have 10 feet of cable per MH that i need to hide...

i am thinking of installing some bicycle mmounts to the ceiling to raise the entire canopy.. maybe in the next few months...

I'm not complaining, I'm stealing err.. borrowing ideas for when I set mine up. Tank is coming in Saturday, stand the week after next.

I'm thinking of coating the stand in a bed liner instead of paint, any comment on that?

Thats a lot more expensive, unless you know someone, and if you do tell me cause i need to coat the bed on my truck...

why don't you powder coat it?...

I really like your low tech light hanging. That is cool.

the hanging kits for the pfo's were 20 bucks each(x4)... hung everything for 10 bucks.

i copied the basic idea from jeffbrig....

:D I'll know next week if my "buddy" can fit it in on a bed job :D

I don't know anyone that does powder coating (anymore), I'm trying to keep this stand at 0$.

if you can get it for free go for it... it is almost the same thing... except it has a rubber exterior, and minus the shine....

Hey Gabriel,

WOW!!

Nice setup!

Can you tell me the specs. on your lighting system? Wattaged, type, etc..

Paul

Bit white for my taste to tell you the truth. I have one of those pendants with the 10k XM (175w though) and man, it is the crispest white I've ever seen. Not sure those T5's even show up through the halides (I know my PC's don't). You're doing great though and I'm jealous of your progress. I'm waiting for my shop of choice to go diving in Okinawa for my rock.
