Gem tang lesson learned and disease help
Actually very common in fish from Singapore ... But don't know about fish from Mauritius and Madagascar region of the Indian Ocean.
But I've had fish tuberculosis on my middle finger ... I seriously doubt that's it ... Usually looks like an ulcer that keeps growing with lots of puss!
The praziquantel can't hurt if it's trematodes problem solved fast.
Though if you've had your tank in hypo salinity for over 30 days.... I think I've read one of Snorvich or throewer posts on ttm saying that fish in hyposalinity might be prone to secondary bacterial infection in the fish disease forum....!?!
Maybe something to look up or go ask one of them.
It could be mycobacterium marinum.
