getting perc to eat

Anyone has pointers to get my perc to eat prepared food. Ive got a pair of percs(healthy and hosting elegance coral). Had them for 4 months and the male seems to think hes a wrasse. He eats pods off the window, eats mysis but wont touch the pellets I give him (thera a+ 1mm). The female devours the very same pellets. Any ideas? Its a pain to feed mysis for this fish only.

Why not do away with the pellets and feed mysis in stead? I've had quite a few clowns that refuse to eat pellets. I just stopped feeding them.

The "Finicky Fish Formula" version often works well. My fish, including percs, go nuts for them.

Only way you might be successful is by mixing a little pellet food in with the mysis daily and hopefully the clown will wean himself onto them. Frozen foods are generally a lot more nutritious BTW and if at all possible it would be best to feed mostly frozen and maybe a day or two a week of the pellet or flake.
