It's one of those spiral compact flourescent bulbs from Lowes, 75w output 6500k. I give away about 2 gallon bags full of chaeto every month.

Filter trays are old school, that's how it was done over 20 years ago, before the wet/dry sumps. :beer:

Sorry I didn't see this or the other one sooner. No, the last one is not for top off. I have an automated top off system setup as well. One is for alk, one for calcium, and the other for magnesium.

Hubby attached the airline tubing by using a pair of scissors and creating a thread on the inside to thread the hose connector into. He then used some superglue to create a bit of a seal, and voila! Doser!

Added today, ATO Switches attached to a broken fishing pole(yellow) and that is attached to an old maxijet holder and yes all with zipties.

Man which mine would grow at all. It has been the same size for 4 months. Not dying off though so I guess that is good. Maybe it's my ghetto fuge lighting (see signature).
