Nice. How is it working? I have the same out flow on my SWC and its difficult to dial it in because one little twist of the stand pipe makes a big difference in the foam hight.

It works well but just as you said difficult to get the foam hight right.
That is why I added the extra elbow on the inner stand pipe so I have a quick visual check.
but still, difficult.Once it is set it works nice.

I might add a valve later.

Temporary ghetto!

I have a small 10g AIO in my office lit with LEDs. The enclosure for the LED array is mounted on an articulating arm intended for use as a surround sound speaker mount. It's convenient because I can tilt the light up and out of the way if I need to put my hands in the tank. What's not convenient is that the tensioner on the arm requires an alan wrench. Something happened to the one I had in my office, and the other day, I needed to get in the tank. I swiveled the light up, and that apparently loosened the tension on the arm, because when i was done, the light sagged all the way down onto the tank. Without my alan wrench, what was I to do? Pen caps obviously :)

...and that is one of the worst

I like how the phone is there just in case; "In the event of a fire, call 9-1-1"

A few of these ideas are ingenious but then a couple of you have me wondering :smokin:

Great idea's for the diy reefer who can build his fish tank at HomeDepot

I want to know what the katchup packet is for?

Yeah and I meant ketchup too.

Katchup packs are those that you got in school because the district was too cheap to buy the good stuff.
