My skimmer is made from waste and some leftover PVC elbow and a T

Nice. How is it working? I have the same out flow on my SWC and its difficult to dial it in because one little twist of the stand pipe makes a big difference in the foam hight.

Temporary ghetto!
I have a small 10g AIO in my office lit with LEDs. The enclosure for the LED array is mounted on an articulating arm intended for use as a surround sound speaker mount. It's convenient because I can tilt the light up and out of the way if I need to put my hands in the tank. What's not convenient is that the tensioner on the arm requires an alan wrench. Something happened to the one I had in my office, and the other day, I needed to get in the tank. I swiveled the light up, and that apparently loosened the tension on the arm, because when i was done, the light sagged all the way down onto the tank. Without my alan wrench, what was I to do? Pen caps obviously
