Matt if you have a computer repair shop close by you may get a refurbished unit even cheaper. There's one here in town that will sell "off lease" units for about 1/3 what you can buy a cheap one at a retail outlet. Best of all they have WindowsXP and Windows7 available and a warranty (all be it just a few months).

PS, have you kept SPS for long term under Metal Halides before? If so, how do you rate the Mitras compared to MH in terms of SPS colour?

Hi sahin. I don't test nitrate but my po4 is usually around 0.01-0.02 on hanna

I've had mh yup, giesemann fixture with Phoenix globes, I think the settings I'm using are pretty close to that setup. Sps are looking the best I've had under these led than any other lighting so far. Fingers crossed they hold

@rodneyri, spectacular! 2 months and everything looks great, finally some ammo to battle the anti LED crowd. As I expected, LED only needed the right fixture build and software to be successful.

How good is it for a 30" deep tank as far as penetration for SPS on or close to the sandbed? Is one good enough for a 24"x24"x30" cube?

I really am having a hard time believing that led's have this affect on sps especially like the one pictured above.....I have been around reefcentral to know its all about $$$$$$$ I am sorry but its just to good to be true.
