Well, I have to vent and figure this is the perfect place...
First off I want to say that I think my apex controller is probably the best controller for the money considering all it can do for the price. I feel their technical support (Eugene in particular) does an excellent job walking you thru any issues and is very willing to help. THAT SAID, their customer support (particularly their warranty and repair service) is terrible at accomodating their customers. I reported to them that one of my modules was not working properly and after some troubleshooting they agreed. Since this module controls my pumps and lights, I cant just send it away for 1-2 weeks so I asked them for help. They agreed to send me a loaner in the next few weeks so that I can run my system while they fix my module....but when I called back 3 weeks later they didnt know what I was talking about! I was told there was nothing they could do and that I would just have to send my unit in for repair even though it powered my pumps and lights. I requested to speak with Curt, supervisor, and he never even called me back days later.
Fast forward a few days, I spoke to eisaiasjr and he has a spare he can lend me so I may have resolved my issue. This is NOT the first time Neptune leaves me hanging (last time they agreed to ship 2 day air and I got it 5 days later ups ground with an oops we r sorry o well). I truly wish there was a better company out there that actually gave a crap about its customers.
