Got my Eheim 1260 in the mail, question.

Just got my Eheim 1260 in the mail. I didnt know the outlet wasnt threaded. I have 1" PVC piping for my return and bought a 1" slip to 3/4" female threaded reducer. Obviously thats not gunna work with this pump. What is the best way for me to get this pump connected to 1" PVC for my return?

Edit: Do I have to just take the nozzle off and find a 3/4" male threaded to 1" female slip?

go to home depot or lowes and try to find adapters. Make sure to bring something to test it out. Shouldn't cost too much.

Not sure if they are the same but my 1262 I unscrewed the nozzle and used a threaded 3/4" to 1" directly into the outlet.

Alright, I think the 1260 is the same. When you take off the nozzle its 3/4" threaded. So I gotta pick up a 3/4" male threaded to 1" slip I guess.

Yes, get a 3/4" sched 80 MPT to 1" slip. Sched 80 is longer than sched 40. Wrap it with a few winds of Teflon tape and you are good to go.
