green bubble anemone

Hey
What does a green bubble anemone eat?? I was told to put a piece of shrimp or something fishy in the center and it will close up around it and consume it... Anything else? Thanks.

Have you seen this site?
Although I don't feed silversides as Karen recomends, mine have rejected them.
I stick to mysis, krill, shrimp, scallops acutally any marine based fish will do in small chunks. Soak in selcon or zoe for added nutrition. Just place the food in it's tentacles, it should stick and the anemone will draw it into it's mouth. Good luck!

as said before whatever you feed it make sure that its in small chunks and not large pieces.... anemones have vary simple digestive systems and while they will take large pieces of food it is possible for that food to actually start to rot within them before they can digest it which ultimately will pollute your water and harm the anemone as well. By cutting the food up you are creating more surface area for it to be able to digest and only feed it every few days.

Yea...IPhones dont serve as cameras well..and my digi cam is only 2.5 megapixels

1) I use Silver sides for my GBTA, cut into three sections, it devours them.
2) iPhones require *very* good lighting for the shutter speed to be worth a flip.
3-) if you paid 10 dollars for a GBTA, you may bot won a GBTA...that is, unless you got it from a 'friend'...
