planning to buy one. need some feedback. it is difficult to take care of? lighting? Currently running 4 80 watts T5 HO's.

Once they are established They're pretty tough. Like with all anemones, getting a healthy one to begin with is the hardest part. How deep is your tank?
Mine always seems to do better when it is fed well.

Tank is 2ft deep. Tough meaning easy to deal with? I have BTA for 1 month now and just split 2 days ago so I know my water condition is good. Will anemone host this too? I'm having problem with with my clown hosting my BTA right now. Probably bacause my BTA is too small for them? My BTA's are just probably around size of a golf ball. So I want to try and get a bigger one for them and see if they will host it.

I don't want to put words into elegance coral's mouth, but I think when he said "tough" he meant that they are pretty hardy, once settled in. And I have to agree with that. (( assuming that you are talking about a Haddoni carpet )).

I currently have 3 ( including a green one ), with my oldest one being over 9+ years old. They have lived through a handful of mistakes on my part. But, the hardest part of this is finding a healthy one, my green one is my 3rd green one, the other two didn't last a week, never settled in. Not to sound cocky, but I know it wasn't my fault that those two didn't make it -- they were sharing a tank with a blue one that never acted different while they were wasting away.

Todd's right. That's exactly what I meant.

What species of clown do you have? Your best chance of getting your clowns to hang out in an anemone will be to provide them with their natural host. Your clowns aren't in the BTA because it MOST LIKELY is not their natural host.
