i recently purchased a green carpet from my lfs. and is currently housed in my 55g with my sebea clown (hoping for a host) but im not to keen on him being in my 55 right now as he can be kinda menacing and im a lil worried about my small damsels and my wifes purple firefish, and i feel my current light may be a lil insufficient now i know fully that this anemone requires a large tank and i have a 110g im starting that it will go in. now down to the main question. i also have, without livestock, a 25g with a 350gph HOB filter in the middle of the tank with 2 65w power compact would it be ok to put just the anemone in the 25g completely by himself or with the clown as well?

No... don't put this anemone in a 25g tank for the long term. Only if in a hospital tank for a short period of time and with large water changes performed.

These anemones get huge and produce a lot of waste in the water.
Additionally, even on such a small tank, your 130w of Power Compacts will not be enough light to sustain this anemone. They need Metal Halides, or a lot of T5's.

If you are that worried and don't have the appropriate lighting over the larger tank, I would suggest taking it back to the LFS.

ok so is waste my main concern? it would only go in my 25 for about 3-4 weeks while my 110g is setting up. or i might sell since the clown doesnt seem interested at all in the nem. but i can dedicate a protein skimmer, add extra biomedia, and do weekly waterchanges of 25%. and as light i feel it will benifit more from the 130w about 14inches above him more than the 260w pc 26in away. and my lfs is on a no return thing right now. or any other idea to make something work?
