griss' Tank Upgrade Thread

Just wet sanded the two joints. 1 might be done. 2 started later due to having to get a sheet of drywall and weather keeping that from happening in a timely fashion and will require more work.

Also, treated myself to a Christmas gift. Bought a (2) battery, charger and multitool set as I only had one 18v battery left and didn’t have a multitool. So, once the mud is done, I’ll be able to finish cutting out the plumbing access through the wall without borrowing the son’s multitool.

is it soup yet?
Multitool. You mean like a Dremel or rotary tool? Oh Oscillating saw?
I usually buy corded tools still. They are cheaper so you can get more.
Rotozip is cool but scary. Cuts wallboard and countertops. Microwave ovens too. Oops.

Ugh, I hate aquascaping. My type A won’t allow me to be happy. I played with superglue and aragamax tonight and made what I thought was a cool structure but can’t figure out how to place anything. I’m terrible at aquascaping.

I plan to place the dry rock and then add a 2-3” sand bed since I want Jawfish.

Just find some structures online that you like and copy them. Your pieces are different so it will be different. Overthinking will lead to something unnatural looking, but once it's grown in no one will be able to tell anyway.
