Group Buy

Everyone should bring some bag's or other container with them to Doug's when picking up your order. I'm realitivly sure they are not going to individually package them.

I am not a stalker....I think...maybe...umm....just playing..dg i get out of work at like 5 and will shot over that way as soon as i pick up the family. since iam out of town the kids are going to be crazy from seeing me...

No need in bringing your own bags. I have bags and we can separate out the orders before or when you arrive. Anyone not familiar with where I live, please pm me and I will give directions.

I'm not sure how to get ahold of them. I haven't seen any thread responses out of Cyn_D or Tony_D since earlier in the week.

Everyone has paid or has made payment arrangements. The order will be shipped out tomorrow and will be delivered to my office Thursday morning. The pick up will be at DG's house Thursday evening between 6:00 - 9:00.

If you can't pick up your critters, please make arrangements with someone else who can. These can not be kept at DG's house. He has already offered his home, volunteered to seperate what he could, provided supplies and ALOT of help getting this order placed initially.

I will be heading to up to the north side, near Quail Springs Mall, Thursday evening so if you are unable to come to DG's house, I will be traveling up that way if you need me to meet you.

I have offered to hold live stock for some that are just unable to get by to pick up their order Thursday evening. That is as long as I will be able to hold them. Of course if anyone has a friend or someone that can get by on Thursday evening to get their order and put them into their tanks that would be great. But regardless, all I can offer is to let them float in bags until they can get by the next day to get them. I will not be able to release their order of live stock into my tank since it would be too time consuming to retrive them back out and probably near impossible to get some back out such as some crabs. And I should not be responsible for any lose of live stock. This seems only fair and hope it is acceptable to all.

i will be there to get it doug...and if needed i live off 50th and portland area i could hold stuff also or bring back this way if needed?

Thank you Justin.

My address will not google on any map quest believe me everyone has tried and for some reason it takes to S.W. 8th off of Morgan Rd. I can give out directions by pm. Thank you all.

From Keys Critters:

"Madison, it's on the way

Keep them as cool/cold as you can until you need to hand them out. Keeping them cool slows their metabolism down. Do not float them in an aquarium and warm them up.

Your FedEx tracking number: 797031772477

All dry packed inverts are acclimated to 1.025 @ 78F.
We pack and ship bulk inverts dry, snails and hermits. Before you receive your shipment have a container ready with "old" salt water (this can be out of your current system) that is adjusted to 1.025 @ 78F and well aerated. That is a measure of specific gravity and the measurement is temperature dependent.

Float the bags in this water for approx 15-20 min to adjust for temperature, then just open the bags, rinse in aged water, dispose of the rinse water, and release the inverts into the container. Please do not drip acclimate dry packed inverts.

Proceed with any other acclimation after that if your system is of a different specific gravity and temperature.

Most people run their invertebrate systems at 1.025/78F. If your system is already within that range, you just need to float for temp, give them a quick rinse, dispose of the rinse water, and immediately release.

Thank you
Keys Critters/Corrie"

I checked the tracking number and it left Marathon, Florida yesterday at 4:40 PM and was on a truck heading out for my office this morning at 6:47 AM
