I don't think so. 2 watts is just not enough light.

I have 1 of those or simular. I just saw these cheap. They also have a red cfl bulb.

I think they have a 19w white LED that is supposed to be good.

FYI all those red party bulbs are are a regular cfl with a coating applied. Not use full for our purpose.
