H. Mag seven days of treatment advice appreciated

Day 1 through 6 mouth stays closed and nem is very responsive and sticky I'm adding more flow today. There are still small signs of deflation occasionally but only 4 to 5 tentacles at a time. After seven days of treatment should I try to feed and give the treatment a rest for a day too see how it does in untreated water? Thanks for the help I'd be lost without all the help on this forum!

It looks good. Don't worry about a few tentacles deflating, I'd consider it normal for an acclimating mag. If it continues to walk on the the side of the measuring cup, and you're able to safely do it, try to invert it. The mag will be happier sticking on the outside bottom of the cup.

Thanks Dnak I was curious of that as well considering that it tries to reach out of the cup and the tentacles that are fully out look the best. Would you advise me feeding the mag after the 7 treatment or allow it to bask in the arctic t247 that I'm using for a few more days without further treatment. I'm worried the treatment will do more harm than good since the anemone gets ****ed when I treat the water

Since the color of the nem looks good -- it's not bleached -- indicating a healthy population of zooxanthellae, I don't think you need to feed it. Once it's in your DT and has settled in, then you can try feeding it.

No I have no anemones in the display tank atm it is built for a single magnifica

If it were me I'd add it to the display now if the treatment is done. I'd put the whole cup in the display just below the rock that you want the anemone to go on so the anemone is touching the rock. I'd bet it will climb up there on its own within a day.

Day 7 not 100% but still strong. some tentacles seem bent out of shape but the tentacles will stick to my finger if I get to close. Anemone is very responsive to touch. I will keep in qt for another day or two and slowly back off on treatment

Although I'd be super chomping at the bit to get to display, I think that is the safer choice and what I would TRY my best to do as well.
Never hurts to be extra cautious, especially since youve already gone through the hardest part, would be a bummer to have a hint of infection left and then start over.

I agree davocean it will stay in qt as long as possible I'm adding another power head tonight to give it more eradic flow. I have more medication on the way to try if infection continues as well. Thanks again for all the advice
