H&S A300 extreme make-over

I bought the skimmer from a local reefer without the stock pumps. Instead of forking out the $1200 for 3 pumps I did a complete re-work of the recirculating system on the skimmer. It now runs on an Iwaki MD-30-RXT pulling air via dual venturis. The skimmer is, for now, being fed by a Rio 750 gph pump but I plan to re-route my overflow directly to the skimmer when I have some more free time. Skimmate you see is the result of the first 72 hours of operation. The Iwaki pulls 80 watts. Venturis pulling 1000 lph air. No needle wheel. No mesh mod. Just a simple straight-up venturi skimmer.

the foam head starts at the top of the neck, The bubble density looks very low is that 1000lph total?

Yeah, it's not a lot of foam compared to stock specs. The Iwaki is small, just what I have lying around and it's not modded. I have an air meter hooked up to the venturis and both are pulling 500 lph each. I am setting the water line lower than normal to start until I am comfortable with it's performance because I don't want it to suddenly overflow. I will continue to play around with it, maybe get a Sequence pump with needle wheel.

a sequence needlewheel or an airstar or SWC askoll would be sweet, that a great body just needs twice as much air.

Yeah, these H&S skimmer are really well built but parts are either really expensive or hard to find.
