So i turned on the mp40's and i tilted the PVC on an angle. Here is how he looks right now, sorry about the pic, blue lights are only on now. Is he looking ok? What steps should i take for care next few days? I understand I should not feed it right away. Going to have to find some rock or something to conver this PVC

This nem is new to you correct? I would watch it to make sure it isn't deflating as well as the other signs and symptoms of a sick anemone. Based on the pics I don't think you have any reason to "push the panic" button. I think it is also a good idea to have your quarantine system set up and ready to go should things go down hill.
I think the first 30 days are the most stressful with a new anemone. When I first got my Haddoni it deflated twice in the first 30 days I had it. I freaked out because a year ago we didn't have a Cipro protocol to treat sic anemones. It pulled through just fine and has been doing well for over a year now.

Yes it is new to me. So when you say deflated, basically your saying it would look closed up right? What other signs are there for a sick carpet? He looks fine this morning and my clown jumped in and hosted it! And most importantly, he didn't move! How about feeding? Wait at least a week?

Not just closed up but deflated. Something you might describe as "pancake like" in apperance. Note, they get significantly smaller at night as you know. Mine expands with the intensity of my lighting reaching max size as my lights peak around three in the afternoon. Here is a very good read with pics to show you what to look out for.
Haddonis get big and can get very big very fast. The nem you have now may even be challenged by the space you currently have it in. When it fully expands you will be able to tell if you need to move it or not. I mentioned size to say I would feed very small amounts of salmon weekly at most. By small amounts I mean a piece of fresh salmon the size of a dime and the thickness of a pencil eraser. Yours look very healthy and outside of feeding for the purposes of helping it to acclimate to your system I would not feed it beyond the first month. Depending on what you feed you fish it will catch what may be floating around in the water column. When I got mine it looked like the size of yours. When I put it into the pvc it got twice as big. Since then it has doubled in size.

One other thing I wanted to share has to do with water movement in your tank. With Haddonis flow could be a source of stress if too high. You know its too much flow if your nem is being blow around or seems to settle down and expand when you activate feed pause mode. I have 4 MP40's in my tank but the one closest to my Haddoni never exceeds 100 (note range 0-255 with my controller). Keep and eye on how your nem reacts and I am sure everything will work out well.

Rotknee, thanks a bunch for the helpful info. I will post updates on him to show his progress. So from what i understood, dont start feeding him until 1 month passes. He also did exactly what you mentioned earlier, he has kicked out some of the sand from the PVC pipe he is in. I'm guessing that is a good sign and that he has settled his foot in there quite well. Would you say he would be safe to move around now but just picking up the PVC and moving to where i want? Also, i see in your signature that you have mp40's. What program modes do you use for your haddoni. I use mine with my Apex and have several modes programmed in there but would like to know what the Haddoni would like or dislike as far as flow goes. Since this is my first carpet, I can't really tell if he likes what is happening now or not.

I have a Gig and a Haddoni in my tank so flow is a bit tricky for me. Three of the four MP40's are set higher than the fourth that is closer to the Haddoni. Before the Gig I used and liked Reef Crest Random Random (RCR) a majority of the time. The RCR setting smoothly ramps up and down and will create a flow pattern that should make all of your tanks inhabitants happy.
Others here have been very successful with higher flow Haddoni only tanks so you have to experiment to see what works best. If you start with lower flow and ramp up you will be able to see where you have too much flow when your nem starts to contract. Just know that Haddon's anemones are typically found in lower flow environments based upon what I have read and seen. Check out the links below.

With respect to feeding, I think you are safe to feed now. Just feed small portions weekly to start. After one month, you may not need to feed at all. Just know, that with more food comes more size...
Your nem also looks like it is in a good spot now (as in post #29 ). As long as it is getting good lighting I wouldn't move it. Once established and proven healthy (after a few months) you can move wherever you like. Then you will know what to look for and can better judge if it is in a better or worse spot. Also, don't worry about covering up the PVC yet. Make sure everything else is good and then you can cover it up.

The mouth looks great! No warning signs or reasons to be concerned so far. You are off to a very good start.

Ok here are some pics of him today. So far so good, has not moved out of that PVC pipe, i think he likes his foot in there. I think he's looking good, pretty much the same as yesterday and day before. I have not fed him yet though, want to take my time with that and not rush it.

I've seen his lower half inflate but not as a whole. I'm not sure if where he is now is preventing him to fully extend?

He may not be fully expanding b/c he is still acclimating. He is still new to your system. You may want to try turning off your MP40's and leaving on your return pump for a couple of hours to see if it opens even more. Do this around the time when your lights reach their peak. If it opens up a lot more you may have a flow issue.
