I bought some through both BRS and Amazon so I was able to look up orders for both and then take a screen shot to send to Hanna. If i had bought through my LFS I wouldn't have had a receipt. Probably would have just taken a pic of the bottle with the batch number visible.

Is there any good regent available now I wonder.

Hanna dropped the ball here. They've known about the issue with these bad regents for months. I know this as they've replaced 4 bottles for me. Here's the kicker, the last two replacement bottles they send me are bad as well, per the link. I'm the meantime, how many reefers have had issues in this time. They should have been much more proactive. Mistakes happen but own them early, over communication is key.

Ya, as stated above just use the "attach" button on the hanna form to attach your image file.
As far as reagent... i guess you could use the look-up page on hanna website at your LFS but I stopped by last night and bought a regular liquid kit from NYOS. Going to test with both as soon as I get to the office this morning and report back with results. Ill use the NYOS kit until hanna sends my replacement bottle.

Ok, just tested and looks like my reagent wasn't far off at all.
My alk dropped this week down from around 8.2 to 7.22 dkh and when I used the NYOS kit it tested at 7 dkh.
The only problem, which I now know, is the NYOS kit surprisingly sucks. It can only spit out full digit results, ie. 7, 8, 9... no decimal points. But for this purpose at least it let me know the Hanna has been reading fairly accurately.

I knew something was up! Mine has been reading between 149 and 152, I check every other night. Got a new bottle and last night it read 136. Ran another test because I thought I screwed up somehow and it was the same! Have to check when I get home which batch was bad. Bad thing is I changed my doser to slowly bring it up.

I tested my checker against api last night, and it was in the ballpark. Has anyone found out what the issue is/was?
I went to my lfs last night an he had some reagent for sale and they were all recalled as well. Bummer that It doesn't seem like hanna is putting much effort into getting the word out. Nothing on their fb site that I could find.

Got a ? about the Hanna Alk kit i ordered back in November.
On the box itself there is a 5 digit lot # and on the bottle that came inside the box is a 4 digit lot#.
Is the reagent lot # always 4 digits?
The 4 digit # comes back as needing replaced and the 5 digit # comes back as not needing replaced.

I haven't heard of anyone finding a good bottle. The ones I got yesterday from a large vendor were bad. If there are no good ones out there why didn't they just say all of them are recalled?
