If I get a 60D, does that mean I'll shoot great pictures like you?Now only if it were that easy. Great Pics Kenny
Yes, Mike. It's absolutely all in the equipment. The user only provides the finger to press the shutter. Seriously tho, the equipment do make quite a significant difference. The rest is just practice
Happy Friday.
Not much fish related activity for me lately. Need to get organized and sell the stuff sitting round the house and break down the 12g im neglecting.
Quick Birding outing this morning. Club day tomorrow, not sure where the field trip is...

Beautiful and extremely sharp photo. And this thread is not limited to reef/fish only
Kenny, is that a blue line angel? How reef safe is it?
Yes, that's a blueline. Like all angels and other "nippers", it's natural instinct is to "pick" at corals for food. I have several other not completely "reef safe" fish in the tank. For me, it's all in how you condition them and feed them once they are introduced into the community tank. I feed heavy but rely on high quality equipment and maintenance to keep water quality high.
Kenny good to see your sps are doing so well now. I got a blueline a few months ago too and the lines are starting to show. I finally picked up another femininus after my first/second one went bye bye. And lastly....I still have that pink watermelon chalice frag you gave me a long long time ago. You still have that colony?
Thanks James. You must've gotten a juvi. They are typically easier to condition to aquarium life. Mine started out as a juvi also but has grown almost an inch since. It's getting the treatment now before going into the 300. Congrats on the femininus. I am looking to add one of those or a lennardi myself. Lost quite a few chalice colonies about a year or so ago. Not sure which one you got from me.
