Has anyone tried this LED bulb??

These are very popular with the Nano crowd. This is a copy (rip-off?) of the Nano Customs PAR38. Lots of good reviews

Yeah if not just search
blue led par

bulbs range from 10-40..

I want to try these for my frag tank but have to figure out a way to hide the sockets

I've been contemplating it for a while for my 7.5 gallon cube. I've seen it on other tanks and it looks pretty nice, but TEKWRX is right, I've only seen them on nano's.

Also, I've looked for these bulbs from other suppliers and while you can find them significantly cheaper, they tend to be all white or all blue. If anyone finds one thats a combination please post the link! Also I cant check that ebay link because im at work and ebay's blocked =/

Do yourself a favor and research the Par38 from Evil or Ecoxotic before you buy anything from ebay. There is more to it than the color spectrum. You have to take into account type of LED used, (is it a Cree or a knockoff) and the optics used. The Ecoxotics are limited to 40deg optics which will cause a true spot effect while your LeDio & Nanocustoms units offer 40 60 & 80 degree optics with a better range of available spectrums. A popular nano website also has all the PAR info you could want on the par38's, with 2 minutes of searching you can find it, if not PM me and I will email you the link. Here is a link on RC of a 200g tank using only par 38's, the 4th page has some PAR info as well: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1805886&page=4
