I currently have a Duessemeri, Cheveron and a Blue Hippo. I want to add a Zebrasoma that will pick at some of the different algaes on the rocks.
Which of these would you pick?
Scopas - evolly has one of these in adult color and it is stunning, may be too simillar to the adult color of the Cheveron.
Yellow - very bright, very common, good grazer.
Purple - beautiful fish, stricking color, a little bigger attitude.
Desjardini Sail Fin - gets bigger than the above, less boistrous than its cousins.
In the past I have kept a Yellow, Purple and a Sail Fin. The yellow was a good grazer, but was too small to make a dent in a prior hair algae issue. The Purple was a beautiful fish, but I did not see it graze much and the Sail Fin got big really fast (doubled in size in first 2 months in tank).
Other fish in tank for color/temprament compatability:
Mystery Wrasse
Wantanabei Angel (female)
Solar Wrasse
Bioccelatus Wrasse (like a purple Christmas wrasse)
Flame and Longnosed Hawkfish
Thanks
