Here's a pair you don't see every day

Skunk Hybrid Freak
I finally paired up my thielleis. They've been staring at each other through the tank walls for about the last four weeks while the newbie was in quarrantine. I recently picked up the four 45 cubes I plan to use for my clown species tanks. I should be building the wall and stands they'll be going into soon.

I also have two pairs of A. leucokranos, one pair of A. latezonatus and a pair of A. barberi. I'm chewing on the idea of trying my nigripes pair. They're acting more like I want them to lately.

Nice pair Walt.

We can debate what the heck they are(I personally dont subscribe to the hybrid as species designations), but they certainly are beautiful.

Hoping they turn out to be great breeders, easy to raise, and fast growers :)

Cheers.

Chris,
Thanks.

velvetelvis,
You can bet on it.

BTW, I spied on them last night and again this morning before lights on and they were sleeping side by side. That's usually a pretty good sign of pairability.

Adrienne,
I'm guessing six months till the new system is up. There'll be tons of pics after that.

Amy,
Thanks. Will do.

I work in Baltimore - if you do have any youngin's from these two I'll be the first in line - are the lines at all recessive or is offspring the same or misbar?
