Hermit crab massacre?

We have turbo snails, nassarius snails, cerith snails, banded coral shrimp, peppermint shrimp, some tube worms, a clown and a blenny. We had 12 hermit crabs and are recently noticing more and more empty shells and less crabs walking around. What kills hermit crabs? We spotted a bristle worm a couple of times also. Thoughts?

The small hermits are the ones dying...they wouldn't want smaller shells. OH...we have 3 emerald crabs as well.

The Banded Coral Shrimp. I had one that also liked to murder hermits.
