hi, just to show you some pics and videos of my new mag in QT. I bought the nem with the rock he was attached in order to avoid the associated stress of the rock removal

First day when just placed in QT:

He was with the body upright

Second day: he was carrying a symbiont shrimp, periclimenes holthuisi

Third day, the nem has expelled some black pellets maybe zooxanthellae and he is a little "flatened". I do not know whenenver is a good or bad sign.

About the flow, do you think it is OK or maybe a stronger would be better?

He is under a LED fixture ZETReef ZA1201

Thanks

Give him good flow and try to feed him see if he accepts good start small make sure he eats it and then continue to feed I feed my 4 bleached mags every day until they regain their zoo doesn't look like it had an infection it it doesn't eat for the first week or so I would try cipro treatment and then see if it eats it's Important to provide some food to provide energy for the nem hope this helps :)

Flow in the first Video looks good. Flow in the third video is too low.
Very nice Magnifica. Good luck with him

Ok Thanks Minh. I will increase the flow

About the feeding I am going to wait some time until the nem is more established.

Thanks

He looks healthy. Bleached but no completely so. He should recover quickly once he is out of treatment tank and into his permanent tank. I agree that there is no hurry in feeding him. Wait until you get him in his permanent tank and he is not deflating. Very small amount at first.

Ok Minh, thanks for the help. I will update the post with the nem's evolution

Nice, looks healthy besides being a bit bleached. Hopefully it'll recover soon and start coloring up. Best of luck with the remainder of the QT. are you treating it with anything or just QTing it?

How's the anemone holding up in QT so far?

He is OK, I think is recovering some color through photoshynthesis

My objetive is to have two couples of ocellaris in the DT, each cuople in one nem. I think it is dificult

I have planned to put each cuople of ocellaris (one snowflake and the other black ocellaris) wich each nem in two QTs

After some time, when the ocellaris are used to be together and with their respective nem transfer the two nems and cuoples to DT

The aquascape of the tank can be seen in the following video. I still do not have any corals

Any opinions, comments or experiences?

Thanks

I think you know that anemone is not sick. Best to get him to his final place in your tank and start feeding him. Very nice anemone.

The nem is now in DT. Looking very nice. I am happy :bounce3:

Lovely looking mag :)
Thats a great aquascape you have there. So many options.
What are you plans for the tank once you are happy the anemone has settled.
