Thanks Yea, those palys are a LOT better looking in person. There was a small aiptasia growing on that little bunch so I nuked it this afternoon along with about 10 others throughout my tank. I LOVE the frag racks though...soooo much easier than reaching 30" in the tank to tend to my frags :lmao:

Well, today I came home to a surprise...my purple/pink/green yuma was moved a little from her normal spot and the flow "lifted her skirt" just enough to see four babies under it. :beer: I was able to reach in and snap off a piece of the rock that had 2 of them on it. I'm going to move them closer to the light and see how much color I can get out of em. I'll work on pics when I get a chance, probably tomorrow after UPS drops off my box of goodies...

I turn off my closed loop but not the return pump. I am slowly figuring out this camera. I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D60. Some of those shots I've seen are amazing with that camera.

PS...all I'm getting this week is

Jokers: 2 polyps
RPE: ? right now how many polyps
Lunar eclipse: 3 polyps & 2 babies
Nightmares: 2 polyps & 1 baby
Candy apple reds: 1 polyp + 2 babies
Bambams: 6 polyps & 2 babies
Rainbow acans: 3 polyps & 3 babies

and some others can't remember right now :lol: :beer:

It will help you to better understand your camera and the functions it offers, in turn making you a better photographer.

Funny you should ask :lol: Santa didn't bring me anything reef related....buuuuuuut, I just got home breaking down a 90gal reef and scored TONS of nice 5+ year old colonies. Nothing super rare or anything but nonetheless, some very nice sized colonies.

Can you say toadstool???? :lol: Opened up this thing is easily 14" across...

Captain Americas FINALLY started growing babies! 4 babies under the 4 big polyps....and the Nightmares grew 3 babies in less than a month from adding them to the tank

To tell you the truth, I forgot the exact dimensions LOL It's around 6' X 3' X 12"... acrylic with a built in overflow on one side. I'm picking up Joe's custom sump Wed or Thurs as well. I'll snap a few pics when I get it home.


I had those Capt America's for several months with no growth whatsoever. They just popped out those babies in the last week.
