Hey guys

Finally got home with my new project...that was a LONG afternoon...

Here's a little sneak peek of what's coming....

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks guys :D I went a little bigger than I intended, figuring I could always 'grow into' the tank, rather than having to breakdown/upgrade later. I was right about the measurements...72" X 36" X 12"

The sump is so nice I kind of hate to use it as a sump! LOL, I'll have to get some better pics but let me tell you...it's SWEET! :inlove:

I can't wait to get some water in this thing and get my frag racks out of my display tank....YAY, no more soggy armpits :D

A fish list of the fish I have? I listed most of them on the 'fish names' thread. All I can say is there are probably way more than I need or should have

Wow...just wow!!! That tank is awesome!!! Let me know when I can stop by :D

I'm jealous.

Once you figure out that DC8, come help me get mine set  And I owe you $10...

My jaw just hit the floor. Congrats on the new set-up!

Thanks, I can't wait to get water in it...

Are you going to tie the frag tank into the main system or will it be its own system?

For now it's going to be its own system. Once I upgrade, I'd like a 8' X 4' X 2' in wall and have a fish room with everything tied together. That's my dream "man cave"....pretty sad huh?

haha. i'd love to have a man cave like that someday so it's not sad...haha

Figured I'd go ahead and bump this thread with some bad news. Everything's actually growing out nicely but a last second decision to put a foam padding underneath the acrylic to protect it, turned out to be a disaster in the making. One side of the foam started to break down and the tank is now resting on the stand on the sides but still 1" foam in the center. Needless to say it all has to come down :thumbdown

All in all, I cut a BUNCH of corners throwing this together as I couldn't wait to get water/fish in it. So now I can take the time to fix up all of that and change a bunch of things I didn't care for. Also have a few plans to make it better than ever.

A few pics
