Just got back in from digging my wife's SUV out of the end of the driveway. I sholveled at 9pm last night. There has got to be another 10 inches to a foot of new snow out there. We've gotta be over 3 feet by now. I love snow, so I'm in heaven, as is my Labrador. BUT the snow removal is getting to be a bit much. Trying to keep up with it with a little help from Ibuprofen. I'll snap a few picks once we get some better light.

How's Buffalo and Roch doin?

Buffalo is ok here. Some suburbs received almost 4 feet of snow last week. Other areas got 8-10 inches this week. The southern tier was getting pounded over the last few days. The news is predicting more nasty weather coming this Sunday with rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow. I need to figure out a way to get the wet, heavy snow off of my roof asap!

There's nothing wet and heavy here in Rochester. The temps have stayed in the 20's and it has snowed almost constantly the last 5 days especially up by the lake. The weather forecast predicts snow every day for the next 10 days. I've never seen a December like this.

Buffalo got whacked last week, the So.Tier is getting it this week. Parts have gotten as much as 52" in the last few days. Sunday ought to be interesting for sure with the storm headed this way. Could be rain could be heavy snow from North Dakota to Maine ..
we shall see.

There's 2' in Rochester??? We live 20-30 miles sth of the city and we just have a few drifts of a cpl feet...gotta love that lake effect!

3 feet here. Just north of Syracuse. Haven't stopped the snow blower for 3 days now. Yesterday was the worst of it. I saw some sun after dropping my daughter at the daycare. Made me happy!

Sorry guys we only have about 5 inches here.I live about 30 minutes from Binghamton and my niece said they don't have much either. They said up to 9 last night but it missed

Yeah ,I'm getting hit pretty hard onondaga hill ,higher elevation.quick pic out my back door.
Outside that glass door the deck steps down 6.5 inches. That barely visible thing to the left is my grill.

Ya it's been bad here man. I've had to sweep a dusting off the side purch and steps for the last three days lmao. I haven't even put the snow blower on the deere yet. Guess i better get my rear in gear.

Just southeast of Syracuse. We've been hit hard in the last 36 hours as well. I bought a (used) snowblower this year and I'm very glad for that. I don't mind shoveling, it just takes a LONG time!

Wow! You guys are getting hammered!

In the fingerlakes region we don't get as much. Except, about 4 miles south of me gets 4x as much snow as at my house because of the mountains. I'd say we have about 3"

They had state snowblowers on I86 yesturday near Jamestown. That was a first for me...

24" in the last week here. Broke down yesterday and finally ran the snow blower, as the snow was high enough to get into my boots then getting into to truck, otherwise 4 wheel drive is all I need to get in and out of the driveway.

I'm thankful The J Man has a 4x4 truck....my monte carlo does not like the very unplowed streets in the city :mad2:

My parents at home in Elma got over 2 feet of snow, but nothing like West Seneca did.

I'm definitely glad for some of the white stuff....since I don't have to shovel (one of the few joys of living in an apartment building), I'm going to go out and play in it!!! :wildone:

Apparently North Buffalo is the place to be. We maybe have gotten 6 inches total in the last 2 weeks. Love it :)
