I shoot with a Canon HV20. I think I paid $900 for a nice package from B&H Photo over a year ago. The HV20 has been replaced with the HV30. These HD video cameras use minidv tape. I also used a Raynox WA lens.

Nice video bigd. I love those ELOS tanks. Just be careful with that electric blue hermit crab. They tend to crawl on the branches of coral causing a lot of stress - laclk of polyp extension...

Thanks for the heads up on the hermit. I am sad to hear that cause I really like those guys. I will see what happens with them when I begin to add corals to the tank.

And thanks for watching my video. I just looked at a few of yours on youtube. I only hope I can keep some corals like yours in my tank someday.

I turned the snail over thinking it would be able to dig under the sand. 30 minutes later I saw the shrimp pickup the snail and drag it into a cave within the rocks. I guess that shrimp was pretty hungry. It seemed to have gotten the nass's snorkel or whatever that thing that sticks out from the sand is called. I had added peppermint shrimp because I found the first aptasia about a week ago. It was gone within a day after adding the two shrimp. But if the bigger one keeps eating my snails, he will have to go.

Your phone takes decent video. I like your Zoos. I think I will add my first coral this weekend, and this video makes me crave a Zoo or two.

In this quick video I tried to capture what I think are copepods on my glass. I noticed them when looking at my sand today. If you watch in high quality mode you my be able to see much smaller things moving around the few big guys. I can not see the smaller specks on my glass when looking just with the naked eye..

I find these creatures fascinating. I hope to find a good macro lens for my camera so I can get bigger and clearer shots.

Do you guys use anything to edit your videos?

I use either iMovie08, or Final Cut Pro.
