How aggressive is a queen angel?

I just came across this, while browsing........ thought it interesting.
She's taking one not one, but two french angels, both of which are bigger than her! ..........and it looks like she won!

IME queens can be very aggressive. I put them up there with passers and mac's.

I agree w LargeAngels, with that said the Brazilian Queens are amazing in color and personality given the right tank mates are chosen

In fairness, the queen in the vid I linked to isn't full grown, I wouldn't think, but teh French's are - and she kicked their butt!!!

I was not surprised watching that video - it was just interesting to watch.

My Queen is a solid 10" and holds her own against a larger Blueface and Bluering. She does not instigate confrontations with them or any of the smaller fish but when confronted, she fights right back convincingly. My Queen is my favorite fish (tied with my 7" Scribbled angel).

Not to be nit picky..but those look more like grey angels to me.

Read in papers that grey angels are more aggressive than french's as well though ...

Yes, you are right - they do seem to be grey's - not french's as I previosuly stated.

The aggression depends on the individual fish of course, but to be on the safe side, choose her tank mates wisely, and make her the smallest and last fish added.
