how come my percula clown does not like the carpet anemone ?

You probably have a haddoni. That's the wrong species of anemone for perculas. If it was a gigantia they would have jumped in right away. They can still move into a haddoni, but it may take a while. They may never move into the haddoni and choose to live in something else. There's also a slim chance that the anemone could eat your clowns.

Give it time, my clown didint like the anemone at first either... It LOVED it when I added a rather agressive tang though LOL.

you can try baiting your clown to him. put a little food by where your clown is staying now, just enough to let him know its feeding time. them put a few pieces in the nem.

I would be careful trying to bait a percula to a haddoni. This is what can happen when they get to close without the proper acclimation period.
