Hey y'all i got a 10 gallon tank long version and it's besn up for 5months currently have 2 clowns 1 watchman goby pistol shrimp some hermits and snails bunch of corals

Went to rap today and somone talked me into a scooter benny is having 4 fish in 10gallon too much will it be too much on the bio load eventually I'll be going 20 gallons once o find the right tank any advice please

IMHO, having 2 clowns in a 10g tank is already too much due to well documented aggression issues. For a pair of clowns the minimum recommended size tank is 50 gallons, with 75 or 90 being more realistic.

As for adding a scooter blenny, unless you want to add supplemental pods daily it will starve to death in short order. It just is not possible for a tank that small to sustain a sufficient population of pods for a dragonette (mandarin/scooter "blenny")

Lol so your doing your research after you bought the fish? Your combo of fish are not suitable for a 10 gallon tank, IMO you need a bigger tank (75-90 )for the clown fish if nothing else. You will be happier long term and more importantly so will your livestock.

I agree that two clownfish in a ten gallon is not a good thing. I have a 14 biocube and have one clown and one ywg all is well I’ve hade these same two fish for about 3 years and in two different tanks but I wouldn’t put two clowns in a ten gallon
