How many t5s to replace my halide?

I am asking here becuase of my large squamosa clam.

Tank is a 56. 24" tall 30"long, 18" wide. Currently I am running 1 400 watt XM20K metal halide.

I am thinking of switching to all T5's, but am concerned if I can get enough light for my clam. It is about 10" long. Other life are frogspawn, poccilipora, deep water acro, elegance, etc...

So, how many t5s with SLR reflectors?

I would suggest a tek 6 bulb fixture. you may be ok with even a 4 bulb fixture.

Yeah, I agree with skinz. No less than 4, But he won't thrive from the light like he will a halide.

Well, I do not want to hurt the clam.

Maybe I'll just stick with the halide.
