As has been stated it's a A. rubrocinctus. A. melanopus do not extend into this area. Also, they only retain the single head bar into adulthood, the other two will fade away.

As to availability, there are CB available in the states, but they do not look like their WC counterparts. There are WC available on rare occasion from LA.

Rivers are being flushed out again due to the heavy rains.

Not bad for 20 minutes work. Stocking up for the next year.

I most admit I'm kinda jealous ;). I wish I could live in Australia mate, New England is just a bit to cold for my taste. Plus being able to get up close with all those amazing corals and livestock would probably blow my mind. It's kinda makes me grueling a little bit. lol keep up the great work and thank you for show us a small peace of your world down under!

first thread i see on this site and it is ridiculous if i had this in my backyard i wouldnt even need a fish tank cuz id have this. awesome keep the picture coming.

Its funny cause you've inspired me to start a similar thread only showing what we have here in the midwest USA. Right now all the lakes are frozen in about 18" of ice but many fish and inverts are still to be found under that ice. Not a tropical oasis such as yours but unique in its own right of course. In fact I was just ice fishing in a blizzard in northern canada this time last week.

Lewy, I just wanted to thank you for all the photo's and your comments on all of them. I know it's probably a pain in the a@@ to drag a camera, buckets, nets etc.. every time you go out but it is truly apperciated espically when I'm at work 12 hours a day in Michigan waiting for a HUGE SNOWSTORM to hit, thank you for the escape and keep up the good work, tip a Fosters I love that Beer and great thread !

I'm guessing he's a VB man. Nobody really drinks Foster's in Australia, its a common misconception. Personally I'm a Bundy and coke guy
